Tobin EDGE Series: Bette Davis Ain’t for Sissies
Travel to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts for a trip back in time to the 1939 Academy Awards. After a painful Oscar snub, actress Bette Davis goes on a determined mission to make it big and break free from the controlling Hollywood studio moguls holding her back. Performances through February 3.

As part of Alamo City's Tricentennial celebration, six different artistic hubs are joining forces for an epic, nine-week long exhibition. Together, these different creative institutions are telling the story of San Antonio through 2-D and 3-D works, new media, performance art, and literary works. International Music Festival
Sounds from around the globe unite during the final weekend of the International Music Festival. Concerts featuring jazz, Russian folk dance, the sounds of Spain, and more will take place at the Charline McCombs Empire Theater and San Fernando Theater through Sunday, February 4.

REM Gallery presents Artist Talk and Champagne Reception: Paula Owen
Artist Paula Owen, president of San Antonio's Southwest School of Art, debuts her new exhibition, “The Winter Series: Paintings and Mixed Media,” at REM Gallery. The unveiling will be accompanied by an intimate discussion with the artist and a champagne reception. Admission is free with museum ticket, and the show is on display through February 23.

Make the trip to Boerne's Roundup music venue for a night with country singer-songwriter Kevin Fowler. Other highlights of this fundraiser, benefiting the Boerne Greyhound Athletic Booster Club, include a playground for kiddos, silent auction, and a full bar and beer garden.
