Legendary Broadway musical Miss Saigon, the epic story of a young Vietnamese woman, heads to the Majestic Theatre. Reimagined by the creators of Les Misérables, audiences can expect a stunning spectacle featuring a cast of 42 performers and the original score including Broadway hits like “The Movie in My Mind” and “The Heat is On in Saigon.” Following opening night, performances are scheduled through January 12.
Richter Goods presents Listen: Acoustic Music Series
Music series Listen continues with blues performers Adam Ahrens and Sue Foley at Broadway News. Attendees to the intimate pop-up concert can discover up-and-coming Texas musicians in a quiet setting — perfect for discovering new sounds and talent. National Geographic Live presents I Bought a Rainforest
Photojournalist Charlie Hamilton James’ journey in the Peruvian rainforest is recounted in front of a live audience at Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. The wildlife documentarian and conservationist will explain what inspired him to purchase 100 acres of rainforest and why he has made it his life’s mission to protect the natural and lush habitat of Peru’s Manu National Park.
