Centro Cultural Aztlan presents “San Antonio on the Rise” opening reception
San Antonio’s rich cultura is examined by local artists Martin Rangel and Victor H. De La Fuente at Centro Cultural Aztlan. Together, Rangel and de la Fuente capture the nuance of everyday life in "San Anto," while also speaking to the city's diversity, history, and unique culture. Guests can enjoy light refreshments and music as they discover the artwork. Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through September 6.
Cirque du Soleil presents Corteo
The AT&T Center stage turns into a clown’s festive funeral — which is happier than it sounds — for audiences of all ages to enjoy. Corteo, which means happy procession, features stunning aerial tricks, music, and tumbling complimented by stunning costumes and set design. Select tickets for opening night are still available. Performances through August 11.

George Lopez: The Wall World Tour
Comedian George Lopez performs live at the Majestic Theatre as part of his The Wall World Tour. Best known for his eponymous mid-2000s TV sitcom, the entertainer has been making audiences laugh for more than three decades. The stand-up production features fresh material delivered with Lopez’s style of blatant (and hilarious) honesty. Performances through August 10.
Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots in concert
Radio personality Bobby Bones and his comedy band, The Raging Idiots, bring their live show to the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. After emerging on the music scene in 2015, the duo have been regulars on the touring circuit and have shared the stage with talented artists including Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, and Toby Keith. Fans can expect a live performance of funny songs from their newest EP, Live From Boston, along with top favorites.
Tower of the Americas presents Party on the Tower Plaza
An immersive musical experience is taking over the Tower of the Americas during this special 13-week series. Enjoy live performances by San Antonio’s top bands and artists spanning genres such as classic country, dance, blues, rock ‘n' roll, and more.
