Lil Jon to headline Tacos & Tequila Festival near San Antonio

Lil Jon has the right shoes ready for his 2025 Tacos & Tequila Festival performance.
Not that San Antonio doesn't already have enough tacos and tequila...but there can always be more. The Tacos & Tequila Festival & Tequila Festival, which made its San Antonio-area debut in 2024, is returning May 10 at Retama Park in Selma. Live music by Lil Jon, Ginuwine, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and more push this event's 2025 promises over the top.
There will be plenty of other entertainment including live DJs, margarita bars, lucha libre wrestling, and a chihuahua beauty pageant, an exotic car showcase, and a chips and queso competition, according to a press release.
If there can be another main event when Lil Jon is around, it's the tasting booths. Tacos are the top menu item, but there will also be some barbecue and "traditional festival eats." Tequila tastings will be confined to a "lounge."
Local vendors who have committed so far include:
- Double A Barbecue
- Rivas Tacos
- Playa Bowls
- The Booth Life
- Powder Me Up Funnel Cakes
- Chicken Buzz
- Kain Na - Filipino Cuisine
- Bombers SA
- La Bandida Street Food
- 3B BBQ
- Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken, will be serving up mouth-watering delectables from tacos to barbecue and traditional festival eats to keep the party fueled.
