Trulia also recently predicted that San Antonio would be the eighth hottest real estate market to watch in 2017. The current average listing for a home in Alamo City is $295,125, and there are approximately 4,000 homes for sale right now. Here are three bang-for-your-buck neighborhoods that we recommend, for a variety of reasons.

Northwest San Antonio
Northwest San Antonio is extremely popular; the area is made up of lots of smaller areas, where inventory moves incredibly quickly and there are typically only a few listings on the market at a any given time. This popularity is largely due to the affordability of the lots, plus a home here is a short 15-minute commute to downtown San Antonio.
