Haute Property
Live like you're always on vacation at this luxury San Antonio high-rise
With its groundbreaking at the end of January, The Arts Residences will introduce San Antonio to a new standard of luxury downtown living. Located at the epicenter of the city's vibrant performing arts district and across from the River Walk, The Arts Residences is a $116 million, 20-level, 337,000-plus-square-foot mixed-use development.
That includes the luxury condominiums atop San Antonio’s first Thompson Hotel, which will offer homeowners such unparalleled amenities as 24-hour concierge and room service, a spa, a first-class restaurant, a pool deck, and more. The residences are priced from the high $400s to over $4.5 million for the penthouses, and forty percent of the homes have already sold since the sales gallery opened in May 2017, setting a new record for the fastest-selling high-rise luxury condominium project in Texas.
"Residents of The Arts Residences will live an elegant, concierge lifestyle within minutes of San Antonio’s finest cultural and entertainment offerings," says Acho Azuike, chief operations officer of DC Partners. "A limited number of these incomparable condominium homes remain for those discriminating enough to recognize their timeless value. Now more than ever is the time to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on January 30 from 9-11 am at the project site, 123 Lexington Avenue, followed by a reception of champagne, mimosas, and light bites in The Arts Residences Sales Gallery, located at 115 Auditorium Circle.
Expect to see City of San Antonio elected officials in attendance, along with representatives of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Centro San Antonio, Jordan Foster Construction, Two Roads Hospitality, Powers Brown Architecture, Universal Services Group, and Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty. Numerous representatives of DC Partners will also be on hand, as well as The Arts Residences sales team, prominent members of the San Antonio real estate community, Arts Residences owners and prospective buyers, friends, and family.
"We are very excited to get construction underway and play a major role in creating this landmark mixed-used development," says Leland Rocchio, president of Jordan Foster Construction’s Commercial Group. "The Arts Residences and Thompson San Antonio hotel will further enhance the culturally rich arts district and growing downtown by providing a positive impact on the community and its long-term intrinsic value."
The development, which is slated for completion in 2019, reflects its culturally rich neighborhood with innovative floorplans named for famed artists and composers. Whether living in the Frida, Degas, or Picasso, residents can expect soaring, 10-foot ceilings; Italian kitchen and bathroom cabinetry by PEDINI; Bosch kitchen appliances; rain shower heads; and all the perks that come with living in the Thompson San Antonio hotel.
Those who opt for one of the five terraced penthouse can look forward to wine coolers in the kitchen, air jet tubs in the master bathrooms, solar shades for the 12-foot windows, and optional private garages.
