Carver Community Cultural Center presents Wardell Picquet & Alethia Jones Exhibit opening day
The work of two celebrated artists, Wardell Picquet and Alethia Jones, is unveiled as the newest exhibit at Carver Community Cultural Center. Visitors can expect pieces that incorporate Picquet’s use of color and patterns as well as Jones’ interpretation of spirituality in this intimate and thought-provoking showcase. Following opening day, this exhibit is on view through February 13.
Jim Breuer: Survival With Laughter Tour
Actor and comedian Jim Breuer is back on the stand-up circuit with a performance at Charline McCombs Empire Theatre. Breuer is best known for his time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1998 and for his roles in popular films like Half Baked.

A multimedia laser and light show featuring Pink Floyd records illuminates the Majestic Theatre for one night only. This production includes a combination of classic hits and cutting-edge effects for an immersive experience and the ultimate fan event.
Tobin Center for the Performing Arts presents Cinema on Will's Plaza
Round up a few friends or family members for the first free movie night of the year at Will Naylor Smith River Walk Plaza. This month’s featured Cinema on Will’s Plaza film is the hit Pixar superhero film, The Incredibles. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to ensure good outdoor seats. A full bar and concessions will be available to make the movie night complete.

Tobin Center presents Shen Yun
Breathtaking theatrics and ancient Chinese dance return to Tobin Center for the Performing Arts stage. Shen Yun audiences will get a glimpse into the history and journey of classical Chinese dance accompanied by animated backdrops and all-original orchestral works. Shows are scheduled through February 18.
Alamodome presents Monster Jam
Gear up for the biggest competition of massive motor vehicles, smack dab in the middle of the Alamodome for just two days. Monster Jam will feature an all-star lineup of world-class athletes and their trucks going head-to-head in competition rounds showcasing stunts, top-speed racing, expert-level skills, and more. Actor, comedian, and author Ron White comes to San Antonio in support of his return to the stand-up comedy tour circuit. He’s best known for his role as a charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour and his cigar-smoking, whiskey-drinking stage presence.
