McNay Art Museum presents "Do Not Meddle With It!!: Print Censorship in 19th Century Paris"
A collection of works on paper that pushed the boundaries of censorship laws debuts at the McNay Art Museum. Guests will be able to discover images by 19th-century French artists Honoré Daumier and Édouard Manet, along with recent works by Guerrilla Girls and Donald Moffett. The exhibition will be on display through December 7.

San Antonio Art League and Museum presents "Sacred Art of Altars: One People, Many Paths"’
A community art exhibition comes to life at the San Antonio Art League and Museum. This exhibit will showcase pieces from more than 60 artists who have crafted altars of the same size and shape with their own interpretation of the common threads of creativity and humanity. Guests can expect a beautiful curation of works offering an array of colors and media, including paint, wax, glass, metal, fabric, ceramics, and more. All altars will be available for purchase through an online silent auction. Admission is free and open to the public.
San Antonio Current presents Whiskey Business
Mix and sip with local whiskey connoisseurs and guest experts in a spirited ambiance at the Witte Museum. Whiskey Business highlights include sample tastings of top bourbons and whiskeys, interactive seminars, live music, art, local food, and more. Tickets are available on the event website.
Majestic Theatre presents Marcello Hernández
Comedian Marcello Hernández performs live for back-to-back shows at Majestic Theatre. He’s best known for his current appearances on Saturday Night Live. Hernández has opened for comedic greats including Gilbert Gottfried and Tim Dillon. Tickets to both shows are available.
Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club presents Jay Pharoah
Actor and comedian brings new material to The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club as part of his stand-up tour. Pharoah rose to fame due to his myriad of celebrity impressions and his six-year stint on Saturday Night Live. Shows are scheduled through August 24. Tickets are available now.

Esperanza Peace and Justice Center presents Sex Work: It's Just a Job
Experience a screening of the documentary Sex Work: It's Just a Job at Esperanza Peace and Justice Center. Guests can also participate in a conversation with community representatives, current and former sex workers, and the filmmakers following the film. Admission is free. This event is adults only.

Latin hip-hop artists La Santa Grifa and Dharius bring their co-headlining tour to the Boeing Center at Tech Port. La Santa Grifa will perform in support of their 2023 album Frenia.
