Majestic Theatre presents Charlie Wilson in concert
R&B legend Charlie Wilson performs live in concert at Majestic Theatre. Wilson is best known for his time as the lead singer of the Gap Band and has released eight albums in his career. Some of his hit songs include “I’m Blessed” and “There Goes My Baby.” A limited number of tickets are available.
McNay Art Museum presents Whitfield Lovell: Passages
The most comprehensive exhibition of contemporary artist Whitfield Lovell is on display for the final days at the McNay Art Museum. Passages showcases two immersive installations and approximately 30 additional works by Lovell, including hyperrealist Conté drawings inspired by found photos of unknown African Americans. Entry is included with museum admission. This exhibition closes on January 19.

Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club presents Gabriel Iglesias
Actor and comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias brings fresh material and guaranteed laughs to the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. Iglesias is one of the most-watched comedians on YouTube and has had roles in films like Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL, and A Haunted House 2. Currently, he stars in Disney+’s The Santa Clauses. Shows are scheduled through January 19.
San Antonio Philharmonic presents "Augustin Hadelich Plays Sibelius"
The San Antonio Philharmonic presents its first concert program of the year at the Majestic Theatre. Highlights include the San Antonio premieres of the works of three of America’s most gifted young composers and a special performance of Sibelius’ timeless "Violin Concerto in D minor” by German-American violinist Augustin Hadelich. Tickets to both shows this weekend are available.
Carver Cultural Community Center presents Ranky Tanky and Lisa Fischer in concert
Grammy-winning artists Lisa Fischer and Ranky Tanky perform live at the Carver Community Cultural Center. This co-headlining show will fuse Fischer’s signature vocalist talents with the Gullah band Ranky Tanky’s blend of low country jazz, gospel, funk, and R&B. Concert tickets are available now.
