McNay Art Museum presents Derrick Adams: "Eye Candy"
Print artist Derrick Adams’ work is on display for the final days at the McNay Art Museum. Adams’ largest project to date explores American pop culture from a Black perspective in this new work on the museum’s AT&T Lobby wall. Guests can study the mix of print, collage, and media that focuses on the commodification of the Black body in media. The exhibit closes on August 17.
Mission Marquee Plaza presents Outdoor Family Film Series
Enjoy a screening of a family-friendly movie outdoors at Mission Marquee Plaza. This week’s featured series films are The Goonies on Thursday and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on Saturday, respectively. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic meals, blankets, and lawn chairs for an optimal viewing experience. Snacks and refreshments from on-site food trucks will be available for purchase.
Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club presents Josh Wolf
Comedian and actor Josh Wolf performs live at The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club. Wolf is known for his panelist role on Chelsea Lately and as a main performer on After Lately. Tickets are available now. Shows are scheduled through August 16.

Tobin Center presents Chris Botti in concert
Trumpeter Chris Botti performs live at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. He’s a Grammy Award-winning artist and has released 12 albums throughout his career, including Vol. 1 most recently in 2023. Tickets are available now.
Stable Hall presents Sarah Colonna
Comedian Sarah Colonna performs new material live at Stable Hall. She was a regular on Chelsea Lately and recently starred in Netflix’s Insatiable. Colonna has also written two books and has appeared in seasons 9 and 10 of Shameless. Floor seat tickets are available now.

San Antonio River Foundation presents Free San Antonio Sound Series
Local composer Pamela Martinez partners with NYC’s Unheard‑Of Ensemble and Germany-based ensemble Part Musik for a family-friendly concert as part of the Free San Antonio Sound Series. The event at Confluence Park explores the geographical confluence of the San Antonio River and San Pedro Creek as inspiration for an immersive experience of sound.

Briscoe Western Art Museum presents Summer Film Series: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The Summer Film Series continues at Briscoe Western Art Museum. Guests will watch a screening of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Guests can enjoy a short presentation before the screening. Tickets include complimentary beer courtesy of Ranger Creek Brewery, water, soda, and movie snacks.
