Travis Scott moshes into San Antonio for surprise Final Four show

Tons of celebrities are heading to San Antonio to celebrate the NCAA men’s Final Four weekend, from country superstar Jelly Roll to basketball legends like David Robinson. Still, one household name has kept his appearance quiet. Rapper, songwriter, and producer Travis Scott is making a surprise appearance at 1902 Nightclub in St. Paul’s Square on April 6.
The upscale hot spot, located in the former site of Sunset Station, announced the show via Instagram. The Houston-native hip-hop superstar will be joined by Sheck Wes, a performer who is no stranger to basketball. The Harlem-born rapper was briefly a point guard for French club Paris Basketball.
The venue announced the coup late March 31. Doors open at 9 am with an estimated show time of 10 pm. According to the event page, the 21+ concert encourages a relaxed dress code. No price info is listed online, and a request for more information from the club was not returned at publication time. Bottle service and other VIP reservations can be made by calling 210-639-2208.
Scott is most famous for his chart-busting albums and a devastating crowd crush during his 2021 Astroworld Festival. Though a grand jury declined to indict the rapper for the tragedy, it did lead to tightened safety protocols. Scott’s shows, however, continue to be some of the rowdiest in hip-hop.
Wes, meanwhile, is mainly known for his 2017 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Mo Bamba." The rapper has been relatively quiet since then, not releasing new music since 2021. He has had guest spots with Scott and others.
The show comes as San Antonio prepares for a celebrity filled Final Four Weekend. Some of 2025’s hitmakers will perform April 4-7 at the March Madness Music Festival, including T-Pain, Doechii, Pitbull, Benson Boone, and Chris Stapleton.
