Simone Biles marries NFL star Jonathan Owens in intimate downtown ceremony and 'top secret' rooftop site
Texas, it's time to wish our G.O.A.T. and her dashing new husband a lifetime of wedded bliss. Simone Biles and now-husband Jonathan Owens announced that they are now officially wed on Instagram.
"I do," Biles wrote on IG, adding, "officially Owens." Her proud husband commented, "Wifey got a great ring to it. ❤️💍 First day of forever." On his own post, he simply wrote "My person, forever." (Nicely done, J.O.)
Wifey certainly does have a great ring to it, as does "Mrs. Owens."
The glowing couple were married at Houston's Harris County Courthouse downtown in a ceremony that appears to officially be the Owenses, presiding judge, and photographer Rachel Taylor, owner of RaeTay Photography.
The Houston-based Taylor captured poignant moments, including Owens' solemn determination as he gazed at his bride, Biles' glow, and the triumphant moment they became husband and wife.

A favorite is the couple exiting the courthouse, where Jonathan is celebrating with a fist pump as gushing wife Simone smiles — a forever frame-worthy moment. Bride Simone stunned a stunning white gown, while groom Jonathan donned a simple tan suit and white shirt in perfect springtime vibes.
Biles is seen toting an all-white bouquet from bespoke floral designer Maggie Bailey of Bramble & Bee.
Fans have watched as the couple have shared their journey — from bridal shower, trips, marriage license, and more. The world will clearly wait for them to share honeymoon photos at some point.
But for now, it's a rousing congratulations to the most decorated female gymnast in history and budding NFL (he's currently a free agent after a strong year with the Houston Texans) star as they embark on their new journey.
To quote beaming husband Jonathan, first day of a lifetime, indeed.
