San Antonio Rodeo wrangles Miranda Lambert and more for 2026 shows

Giddy up! The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has announced the first round of entertainers set to perform across 22 action-packed rodeo events held February 12 to March 1, 2026. The lineup includes A-list country superstars, legendary hitmakers, and rising up-and-comers.
Miranda Lambert, the Academy of Country Music's record holder for Female Vocalist of the Year, is arguably the boldest name on the list. Born in East Texas in 1983, she emerged from honky-tonk dives and reality-TV promise (finishing third on USA Network competition series Nashville Star) to become one of country music's most decorated and daring voices. From revenge-soaked anthems like "Gunpowder & Lead" to soul-searing reflections like "The House That Built Me," she has become an icon for her solo work and super trio, Pistol Annies.
Known for old-school chart-toppers like "Two Dozen Roses" and "Sunday in the South," Shenandoah also has a string of awards under their belt. Hailing from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the group was one of the highest-selling vocal groups of the '90s. Rodeo fans can expect some of the group's famous anthems as well as new songs from reunited founding members Raybon and Mike McGuire.

The rodeo drafted a pair of Austin-area acts to round off its initial slate. Local prodigy Ty Myers, a 17-year-old sensation, has been redefining the modern country sound with a signature sun-drenched twang. His debut album, The Select, featuring hit songs like "Thought It Was Love" and "Drinkin' Alone," made waves across social media and helped him earn buzz from Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, and Billboard.
Rounding up the performers is Shane Smith & the Saints. The red dirt country band has blurred the lines between Americana, folk, country, and Southern rock, with a hint of Celtic-flavored stomp. The group keeps a busy tour schedule with hundreds of shows per year, including sold-out shows at Colorado's Red Rocks and Nashville's revered Ryman Auditorium. And, yes, Paramount Network's hit series Yellowstone made them a household name after they performed "Fire in the Ocean" on the show.
Founded in 1949, the San Antonio Rodeo is one of the largest and most prestigious in Texas, drawing more than 1.5 million visitors annually. With the support of over 7,000 volunteers, the organization has contributed more than $287 million to the youth of Texas through scholarships, grants, endowments, auctions, a calf scramble program, and show premiums. This year, the event will return to the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum fairgrounds.
