1. San Antonio suburb surges among best places to live in United States. One San Antonio-area city has been listed among "the 100 Best Places to Live in 2025" in the United States. The list — from relocation marketing platform Livability.com — put New Braunfels at No. 18 for its close-knit community and access to nature.
2. San Antonio star chef debuts new restaurant and food hall in Southtown. San Antonio celebrity chef Johnny Hernandez is shaking up traditional restaurant models by teaming up with Southtown favorite Blue Moon Mexican Restaurant. In mid-May, Burgerteca, at 403 Blue Star St. #105, will combine forces with the Southtown favorite to serve both menus under one roof.
