Rockers Blink-182 unfurl new tour dates for 2024 including San Antonio
Just a few months after finishing up its planned North American dates on its 2023-2024 world tour, Blink-182 has scheduled a bunch more for the summer of 2024, including a stop at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on Monday, June 24.
The pop punk/alt-rock band played 37 dates in the United States and Canada this past May through July, including concerts in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Now they're giving fans in San Antonio and Fort Worth (June 25) some love, along with 28 other cities, some of which are getting return visits in bigger venues.
They'll be joined by special guest Pierce the Veil in both San Antonio and Fort Worth.
Unlike the previous dates, though, fans at these new concerts will have a chance to get to know and enjoy all the songs off of Blink-182's new album, One More Time..., which was just released on October 20.
It it is the band's ninth album (confusingly, since their eighth album was called Nine), and seems destined to make the top three on the Billboard 200, the same as each of their previous five albums.
Guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge rejoined the band in 2022 after his departure in 2014, so the new album marks the first time the original trio - DeLonge, bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Travis Barker - has recorded new music together since 2011's Neighborhoods.
Prior to the new North American dates, Blink-182 will also play in Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America.
Tickets for the new dates will go on sale starting on Friday, October 27 at 10 am at blink182.com. The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans, including premium tickets, invitation to the pre-show hospitality lounge, specially designed merchandise items, and more.
