ARTS San Antonio presents The Nutcracker
Composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, performed by American Midwest Ballet and San Antonio Metropolitan Ballet dancers, takes its final bow this weekend. Audiences will be transported to the enchanting winter wonderland created by Tchaikovsky, complete with a breathtaking Waltz of the Flowers scene. The production also serves as the capstone to the ARTS San Antonio year-long Tricentennial celebration. Performances through December 22.

Il Divo in concert
The sensational Il Divo returns to Alamo City in support of their new album, Timeless. Known for both their Spanish-language and English-language hits including “My Way” and “Por Ti Sere,” the United Kingdom-based group has garnered an international (not to mention bilingual) following. The Company Theatre presents Bah Humbug!
Award winning actor Damian Gillen brings his talents to the Arneson River Theatre for a one-man adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens holiday tale, A Christmas Carol. Gillen’s repertoire ranges from Scrooge to Tiny Tim during the 16th annual Texas tour of this seasonal favorite. The production features several costume chances, special effects, and traditional Celtic Christmas tunes for audiences of all ages to enjoy.
A Charlie Brown Christmas Live on Stage
Charlie Brown and his group of friends take the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts stage for a live performance. The timeless story of the whole Peanuts gang putting on their own Christmas play is reimagined in front of an audience for two magical evenings. See old friends such as Snoopy, Linus, and Lucy and rediscover the true meaning of the season. Performances through December 23.

Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert
Holiday classics are performed with a rock opera twist at the AT&T Center. The Trans Siberian Orchestra returns to San Antonio with holiday hits inspired by classic songs cherished for generations. This year’s tour features songs from the orchestra's The Ghosts of Christmas Eve. Settle in for an evening of fan favorites including “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” and “This Christmas Day.” Select tickets for both afternoon and evening performances are still available.
