KISS KISS Goodbye
KISS adds surprise San Antonio concert date to farewell world tour
It's the end of the road for legendary rock 'n' roll band KISS. The foursome is slapping on the face paint for one final tour before putting down the multi-necked guitars forever.
Though the band originally announced 44 dates for their 2019 End of the Road Tour last month, the rockers added an additional 25 cities on November 26 — including a stop in San Antonio.
KISS makes their (very flamboyant) way to Alamo City on September 8, 2019, with a show at the AT&T Center. On September 9, the band travels to Houston to perform at the Toyota Center. Based on San Antonio's long love affair with all things heavy metal, KISS' farewell tour is likely to be a hot ticket in 2019.
"All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who've filled clubs, arenas, and stadiums over those years," KISS said in an earlier release. "This will be the ultimate celebration for those who've seen us and a last chance for those who haven't. KISS Army, we're saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we'll go out the same way we came in ... unapologetic and unstoppable."
VIP packages for the San Antonio and Houston dates go on sale November 27, and include the $5,000 Ultimate KISS Army Experience, which includes a private meet-and-greet, photo ops, and pit access.
KISS Army members can access to pre-sale tickets beginning November 28 at 9 am CT. General admission tickets go on sale December 3 at 10 am CT.
