Labor Fest
San Antonio’s Labor Fest returns for a two-day celebration of multicultural music and art. Beginning Saturday at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, the family-friendly event will feature live performances from homegrown artists and talent across the country, delicious food and drink, and more. Comedian and radio personality Rickey Smiley will host Saturday’s festivities.
Igo Library presents Star Trek Day
Live long and prosper on Saturday at the Igo Library Star Trek Day. This family-friendly event will feature exclusive screenings, a costume show, special guest appearances, and more. Writer and director of Star Trek’s Of Gods and Men, Deep Space Nine, and New Voyages, Jack Trevino, will make a special appearance along with science fiction writer R. Thomas McPherson.
