Slide the Slopes
The world’s largest inflatable tubing course opens this week with more than 3 miles of splashy summer fun. Head to Texas Ski Ranch in nearby New Braunfels for this tubing adventure, which opens June 10 and runs through Labor Day.
Friday, June 11
San Antonio Museum of Art presents “America’s Impressionism: Echoes of a Revolution”
Explore America’s take on impressionism at the San Antonio Museum of Art’s newest exhibition. Approximately 75 works showcasing the evolution of American painting by Texas artists such as Julian Onderdonk, Dawson Dawson-Watson, and José Arpa will be on display. SAMA will also present selections of American Impressionism from the coveted San Antonio-based Halff Collection. Following opening weekend, “America’s Impressionism” will be on display through September 5.
Reckless Kelly in concert
Country rockers Reckless Kelly perform at Gruene Hall for back-to-back nights this weekend. The Austin-based group, known for songs like “Nobody’s Girl” and “Seven Nights in Erie,” comes to the San Antonio area in support of their new double album, American Girls and American Jackpot. Select tickets for both shows are still available.
Fiesta Noche del Rio
Celebrate a San Antonio cultural tradition with the Alamo Kiwanis Club at the Arneson River Theatre. Audiences can expect a dynamic performance featuring mariachis, flamenco guitar, singing, and dancing. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase, and the price of admission supports local children’s charities. Following the kickoff weekend, Fiesta Noche del Rio takes place on Friday and Saturday nights through August 7.

Shop goods and wares from local artists, bakers, designers, and collectors at the San Antonio Museum of Art. This monthly market is an opportunity for locals and visitors to connect with the downtown San Antonio area and its Museum Reach communities.
