Drake and his amigos head to Texas as part of North American tour
Canadian rapper Drake has announced his upcoming Aubrey and The Three Amigos Tour, featuring stops in 26 cities — including two dates in Texas. Drake and his amigos will play Dallas' American Airlines Center on September 26 and Houston's Toyota Center September 29 and 30 as part of a North American tour.
Drake will be joined by special guests and “Walk It Talk It” collaborators Migos on all dates. He's touring in support of his upcoming fifth album, Scorpion, due out in June, which has already yielded two No. 1 singles, “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What.”
The tour will kick off on July 26 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thirteen of the 26 cities will feature multiple dates. Given the two-day break between Dallas and Houston, it's reasonable to assume Drake will schedule another Dallas concert if the first sells out quickly. (Or maybe schedule a San Antonio show in there?)
American Express card members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, May 15 at 10 am through Thursday, May 17 at 10 pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, May 18 at LiveNation.com.
