Premium indoor cycling studio pedals into San Antonio
It's time to get your spin on, San Antonio. CycleBar, which describes itself as the world's first premium indoor cycling studio, pedals into Alamo City with a location at the Village at Stone Oak shopping center.
“We expect CycleBar to succeed beautifully at this location, since Stone Oak offers the ideal demographics for the program,” said Marcus Shaffer with the Weitzman Group, a representative of the San Antonio studio. “CycleBar Stone Oak delivers a great fitness program by a top-notch operator with a strong focus on service.”
CycleBar’s rides offer a full-body workout and rigorous cardio experience. There are a variety of classes, including a more traditional spin class, a yoga-infused class, a "performance" class that allows you to compete with other riders, and even themed rides.
The studio provides shoes, water bottles, and snacks at no extra cost. And, in addition to a secure storage area, there are locker room with robes, bags to store your sweaty clothes, toiletries to freshen up, and other conveniences.
CycleBar has dozens of locations across the country, including 10 in Texas: four in the Houston area and six in Dallas-Fort Worth. The company is on pace to have 100 studios throughout the country by the end of the year, according to CycleBar Stone Oak owner Gary Stinnett.
Stinnett says CycleBar's "intoxicating" rides "calm minds, elevate moods, and revive senses."
CycleBar Stone Oak opens its doors on Monday, September 26. The schedule is already up, and first-time riders can take a 30-minute class for free. After your first ride, it's $20 for a drop-in class. CycleBar Stone Oak currently has a promotion for three rides for $29. Ride credits can be purchased online.
