Russian-American pianist Olga Kern is now recognized as one of her generation's great pianists. Her historic Gold Medal win at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition was the first woman to do so in 30 years. She is piano faculty of the Manhattan School of Music, and is the Virginia Arts Festival’s Connie and Marc Jacobson Director of Chamber Music.
Pianist, composer and poet Vladislav Kern is the winner of international competitions including Turec-Bach International Piano Competition and Price Rubin International Competition. His collaborations include Vladimir Spivakov, Leonard Slatkin, Roberto Minczuk, Sebastian Lang-Lessing, Jindong Cai, Giancarlo De Lorenzo and Michael Morgan.
