H-E-B will kick off the holiday festivities with the annual tree lighting ceremony. The celebration is in combination with Centro San Antonio’s Annual Lighting of Travis Park where over 250,000 holiday lights will be on display. Adorned with more than 10,000 environmentally-friendly LED lights and custom-made ornaments, the 55-foot White Fir tree is H-E-B’s gift to the city. The H-E-B Christmas tree will be in Travis Park through January 6.
Prior to the lighting ceremony at 6 pm, visitors can write letters to Santa, enjoy a snow globe photo booth, gingerbread cookie making, play in an inflatable winter wonderland play area, and more.
