The Overtime Theater continues their tradition of the non-traditional by bringing psychological/supernatural horror to their stage in a premiere performance of The Possession. The new play is written by San Antonio-native Michael Burger Song, debuting his third full-length script to be produced at the Overtime Theater.

Arthur, a quiet yet neurotic man dealing with the traumas of his family’s murder, and the fact that he was a suspect in the same, can’t seem to leave the past behind him when a detective shows up at his door to question him about a missing girl. As Arthur tries to move forward, his world is thrown into question as strange events begin to unfold.

An intruder, that doesn’t seem to exist, breaks into his home. Arthur is losing track of time, hearing voices, and his new doll appears to be at the center of it all. As Arthur tries to stay in possession of his faculties he must confront the darkness which has been brought into his home and decide what kind of man he really is.
