Taste of the Republic: The VIP Fiesta Culinary Party

Chef Brian West brings together more than a dozen talented local chefs to interpret the “Six Food Republics of Texas” based upon his Texas Culinary Manifesto. Guests can mingle with Fiesta Royalty while nibbling on gourmet bites paired with the perfect wine, and also take a tour through the distilled spirit tasting rooms that flank the courtyard.

Participating chefs include Jeff White of Eastside Kitchenette, Ceasar Zepeda of Sangria on the Burg, Lisa Astorga Watel & Damian Watel of Bistr09, Jose Ochoa of Palenque Grill, Laura Loomis of Two Bros. BBQ Market, Tatu Herrera of Folklores Coffee Shop, Chad Niland of The Downtowner in New Braunfels, James Canter of Guerilla Gourmet, Geronimo Lopez of Botika, Juan Bazan of Toro, Ben de los Santos of Benjies Munch, Rudy Martinez, and Andrew Gutierriez. As part of San Antonio’s Creative City of Gastronomy chef exchange, the event will also feature Frank Schylla from Darmstadt, Germany.
