SOLI Chamber Ensemble presents Under the Ligurian Sun, Part II

SOLI Chamber Ensemble's season concludes with Under the Ligurian Sun, Part II, a concert-length sneak peeks of repertoire under consideration for the ensemble’s tour to Italy next spring. Part II features three new ensemble works by young composers Viet Cuong, Michael Gilbertson, and Dan Visconti, and revisits a favorite 2015 SOLI commission Street Antiphons by composer Pierre Jalbert.

The highlight of the program is the world premiere of "DISAGREE!" a new commission from renowned L.A. based composer, Miguel del Aguila.  Join the musicians and the composers Michael Gilbertson and Miguel del Aguila for Pre-Concert Talks that will happen on both nights before the performance.

Concerts will take place on May 15 at Jazz, TX and May 16 in Ruth Taylor Recital Hall on the campus of Trinity University. Join the musicians and the composers Michael Gilbertson and Miguel del Aguila for Pre-Concert Talks at 7 pm, both nights.
