Síclovía, organized by the YMCA of Greater San Antonio is a free event that turns major city streets into a safe place for people to exercise and play. The day kicks off with a 5K Run/Walk and Alamo Plaza at 8am.

In partnership with the City of San Antonio, the Y will make 2.7 miles of San Antonio streets temporarily car-free. During the event, the streets will belong to individuals and families to run, ride bikes, participate in exercise classes and enjoy their city streets. Síclovía is a great opportunity for families to come out and enjoy biking, running and playing in the car-free streets.

The route starts at Alamo Plaza and runs mostly along Broadway and Nolan Street.

In addition to open streets, city parks and local businesses along the route will host Reclovia (recreational) areas. Within the Reclovia areas there will be free exercise classes, live music, bike repair tents and more.
