Walk for Sickle Cell Austin is hosted by the Sickle Cell Association of Texas Marc Thomas Foundation. The walk supports and champions families with sickle cell disease across Texas. All funds raised from this walk will go to support the agency’s annual Camp Cell-A-Bration, a camp for children between the ages of 6 and 14 with sickle cell disease. The walk will feature the community trait testing, live music, vendor communication, a memoriam presentation, and tons of family-friendly activities.
