San Antonio Museum of Art presents "Tony Parker's Heroes and Villains," featuring a line-up of some of the most popular figures produced by Marvel Comics and DC comics. The exhibition features life-size sculptures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Hulk, among other superheroes.
Some 41 figures from the best-loved comic book and science and fantasy fiction sagas of our day, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Avengers, will be presented in the Cowden Gallery. The exhibition of sculptures from the collection of a San Antonio celebrity will excite imaginations and inspire memories. Related films will be offered as part of the Museum’s summer programming.
