A group of mothers is raising money for area foster families and orphans by joining in on the “Mom Prom” trend and hosting a throwback night of formal gowns and up-dos, but without the date.
The inaugural San Antonio Mom Prom will include many elements of a typical high school prom, as well as photo opportunities, giveaways, and swag bags. San Antonio Mom Prom is open to women 21 and up, but you don’t have to be a mom to join in. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at a cash bar at the event.
Proceeds benefit the South Texas Alliance for Orphans, an organization who works with a network of local churches to both support families who are fostering and adopting children and raise awareness for how the community can support them as well.
The second annual San Antonio Mom Prom, hosted by Concordia MOPS (Mothers of Pre-schoolers), will include many elements of a typical high school prom, as well as photo opportunities, giveaways, and swag bags. San Antonio Mom Prom is open to women 21 and up, but guests don’t have to be a mom to join in. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at a cash bar at the event.
Proceeds benefit NextTalk, an organization who raises awareness about the challenges of cyberparenting by protecting kids online and strengthening families through open communication.
