The San Antonio Botanical Garden will present the opening of The Family Adventure Garden, a fun, hands-on, safe place to play in nature, developing healthier, happier kids and families who appreciate the natural world and serve as stewards to protect it. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held with speakers, including Mayor Ron Nirenberg, Council Member William Shaw, the Garden’s Executive Director Bob Brackman and more. Gates open to the public immediately following the ceremony with opening events extending throughout the weekend.
The Grand Opening celebration includes drop-in activities and performances hosted by the Garden’s programming team and community partners. Guests can grab a drink and a bite at the new Rosella at the Garden restaurant, visit one of several on-site food trucks or duck into the Garden Gift Shop for a grab-n-go meal.
