San Antonio Book Festival will host a new 21+ event, Lit Happens, a night of engaging literary entertainment featuring festival authors with libations on the side.

Taking place on the eve of the festival, Lit Happens is a three-part celebration of storytelling and community. Guests can immerse themselves in several activation sessions, including an outdoor poetry reading featuring Jose Olivarez and San Antonio Poet Laureate Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson, a live storytelling event, and a Literary Death Match at 8PM that will conclude the evening down the block at Legacy Park.
