Ada Vox will headline the San Antonio AIDS Foundation’s “WEBB Party: Stayin’ Alive” celebration of the glamorous Disco Era of the 1970s with a 21st century twist. The party entertainment will include high-energy DJ dance music, the ever-popular RLE Showgirls, a lineup of local singing talent, go-go dancers (male and female), disco dance demonstrations and lessons, and strolling Studio 54 celebrity lookalikes such as Andy Warhol and Liza Minnelli.
The party also features full-service open bars for all guests (alcoholic beverages for 21 and over only), cuisine tastings by some of San Antonio’s top restaurants and chefs, colorful costumes, breathtaking decorations - and Fiesta’s most diverse, fun-loving crowd. In addition, the annual “Papa Bear Legacy Award” will be presented in honor of SAAF’s late founder, Robert “Papa Bear” Edwards.
Tri-Chairs for “WEBB Party: Stayin’ Alive” are Linda Skops, Roland Benavides and Rey Lopez. The Bonham Exchange will host the annual after-party and provide a free shuttle service between the theater and the club. WEBB Party patrons get in free with their wristbands.
