In honor of Sour Beer Day, Pizza Italia will offer a sour craft beer flight to include four 4 ounce beer samples. Each brew has been chosen to give the guest an overall experience of the sour beer varieties on the market. Pizza Italia recommends beginning with a starter sour, such as the Sea Quench Ale from Dogfish Head Brewery, and then ending with a full flavored sour, such as the Saison de Pasteque by New Braunfels Brewing Company.

  • Sea Quench Ale from Dogfish Head Brewery. This 4.9 ABV session sour quencher is brewed with lime peel, black times & sea salt. 
  • Sour Monkey by Victory Brewing Company. This sour brett tripel has a sharp citrus-laden tang that is tastefully tart. The ABV on this beer is 9.5%.
  • Aunt Sally from Lagunitas Brewing Company. A unique dry-hopped sweet tar sour mash ale with a 5.7% ABV.
  • Saison de Pasteque by New Braunfels Brewing Company. This is a Texas watermelon sour saison with a 6% ABV.
