Seven-Card Stud by Gregg Barrios, the latest of his plays centered around the life of Tennessee Williams, gives the audience a glimpse into the life of a true gay icon. The play tells the story of twin brothers Pancho and Johnny Rodriguez. Pancho is plucked from obscurity by Tennessee Williams during Williams’s heyday while on a visit to south Texas. The brothers stick together through Pancho and Williams torrid affair and after his passing.
The theater will have tables set up to play Seven-Card Stud on opening weekend and the third weekend (chips will be given with donations to the theater).
