National Museum of the Pacific War presents August Nimitz Junior Corps - East Meets West: The Japanese During WWII

The National Museum of the Pacific War’s Nimitz Junior Corps introduces youth to the values, innovations, and experiences of the Greatest Generation that led to victory in WWII through fun games, exhibit exploration, art, and science. Young participants will learn about what life was like for Japanese and Japanese Americans during WWII. They will create origami, learn a few Japanese words, and find out what it was like to grow up in a Japanese internment camp.
