"Houses to Homes" welcomes visitors to this home for art in San Antonio. Taking advantage of the twin nature of the Brown Gallery and The Tobin Wing, the exhibition is divided into two sections.

The first section features artworks devoted to depicting the beauty of architectural spaces including historic theatres, architectural model pieces, and modern architectural drawings. The second section explores how artists take the architectural spaces and turn them into warm domestic interiors through highlighting works featuring bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens.

By bringing together two- and three-dimensional works of art from both The Tobin Collection of Theatre Arts and the wider McNay collection, "Houses to Homes" hopes to bring more attention to the beauty in the buildings and spaces surrounding us every day.
