Luminaria's Contemporary Arts Festival is the premier showcase event for artists of all genres. This year’s themes include LGBTQ+, Cultural Intersectionality and Dance, among numerous others. The Contemporary Arts Festival will includes Artist Foundation of San Antonio, National Association of Latino Arts & Culture, Contemporary Arts Month and the Mexican Consulate.

The Community Arts Day will feature artist-led demonstrations, workshops, and brunches that will spark creativity while an Artist Market provides a chance to purchase artworks and memorabilia. The festival’s closing event will feature an artist-led program that sheds light on the “Queen of the Missions” with unique interpretive artwork.
