25 finalists from 12 high schools in San Antonio and the surrounding area will sing, act. and dance, vying for a chance to win a portion of $100,000 in scholarship funds at the 2016 Joci Awards. Five categories are included: Acting, Best Lead Actor in a Musical, Best Lead Actress in a Musical, Dance, and Vocal. Each category will award scholarships ranging from $2,000 – $5,000. An additional $10,000 is awarded to an overall winner.
