Día de los Muertos (Muertos Fest) returns to Hemisfair for a ninth year with a two-day festival. What began as San Antonio’s beloved Día de los Muertos cultural event has become one of the nation’s top destinations to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Muertos Fest merges traditional Día de los Muertos elements with local art, food, live music, and entertainment.

Festivities will include a multi-stage lineup of live bands, dance and poetry performances; the largest open altar exhibition in San Antonio; an arts market featuring original Day of the Dead crafts and artwork; a drum, dance and puppet procession; workshops; children’s programming; and more.
