The DoSeum invites children and their families to ring in 2020 at their Disco Glow-themed Kids Countdown Celebration. Families will spend the last day of 2019 entertaining their senses with the Artists in Residence exhibitions, presenting the work of Amada Miller and Mark Menjivar. The exhibition invites families to smell the scents of outer space and listen for the calls of birds from southern Texas. The festivities include activities for children, music, and yummy New Year’s treats. A special “noon” year countdown includes a traditional ball drop just for kids.
