The CultureMap Tastemaker Awards is an annual celebration of talent in Austin and San Antonio's restaurant and bar communities, as selected by their peers. Our mission is to shine a spotlight on the people making the local restaurant scene special and honor their innovation, energy, and creativity.
This year, the event is going virtual for the first time ever. Readers can get to know all of the nominees in our special editorial series, then tune in on July 23 for the CultureMap Tastemaker Awards — Virtual Edition, where we'll celebrate the nominees and unveil the winners in a live awards show streamed on CultureMap.
Tickets for the event bring the exclusive Tastemakers experience right to your home, complete with bites from featured nominees, complimentary premium beverages, swag, and more.
All Ticket holders will receive a Tastemaker Awards Tasting Tote, which includes savory and sweet bites by nominees; complimentary premium beverage kits and recipes; gifts from sponsors, nominees, and past winners; and access to interactive games and opportunities to win prizes during the awards show, streamed on CultureMap
VIP ticket holders will have their tote bags delivered directly to their door for six zones in the Austin area (go to the Eventbrite site for a map of the zones). General Admission ticket holders will be able to pick up their totes at a Pickup Party on the day of the event at 7CO (located in East Austin at 7th & Comal).
