Night of Artists draws art enthusiasts, collectors, and visitors to the Briscoe Campus on the San Antonio River Walk for a chance to view and purchase over 220 contemporary works of art that include painting, sculpture and mixed media. Events include food, cocktails, purchase opportunities, and a chance to meet the artists.
New this year: Those unable to attend the Saturday evening art sale may submit proxy bids to purchase works of art. This year also marks the introduction of cash prizes for all award- winning artists including the highly coveted Museum Purchase Award.
Nationally recognized painters and sculptors include T. D. Kelsey, Cliff Cavin, Terry Kelly Moyers, Bill Nebeker, Sandy Scott, Martin Grelle, Billy Schenck, Kent Ullberg and Kim Wiggins. The range of subjects reflect the vastness of the great American West from dreamy landscape vistas, to rugged frontier cowboys, historic missions, and detailed Native American tableaus.
