Avenida Guadalupe’s 39th Annual El Dieciséis de Septiembre Observation

This event is a part of Fiestas Patrias San Antonio, a celebration of Hispanic Heritage month.

During the the 39th annual El Deiciseis de Septiembre celebration, taking place online, viewers can experience the sights and sounds of the cultural presentation presented from the heart of the Avenida Guadalupe neighborhood. Program host Gabriel Quintero Velazquez and cultural anthropologist Maria Zentella, Ph.D. will discuss rare details of the Mexican revolutionary period from the account of Jose Antonio Navarro.

Special performances from Mariachi Azteca de San Antonio, Los Flamencos de San Antonio, Benisa Zentella, and Los Callejeros de San Anto ensure an entertaining combination of history and music.

There will be a replay of the event on September 19.
