Alamo City Arts will present their 32nd annual production of The Nutcracker. Featuring Alamo City Dance Company, the festive ballet features a cast of over 85 performers in 160 roles and is accompanied by the live orchestration of Symphony Viva.

The Nutcracker is a beloved holiday ballet set to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's iconic score, originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. Premiering in 1892, it follows the story of young Clara, who receives a nutcracker doll at a Christmas party. That night, her dreams come to life as the nutcracker transforms into a prince and takes her on a journey to the Land of Sweets, where she meets magical characters like the Sugar Plum Fairy.

A sensory-friendly performance with Eva's Heroes is available on December 20.
