Broadway in San Antonio presents The Phantom of the Opera
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic The Phantom of the Opera is reimagined as part of a brand-new North American Tour. The beloved story — and iconic score — comes to the Majestic Theatre for a two-week stint of spectacular scenic and lighting designs, choreography, and new special effects for viewers of all ages to enjoy. Brooks presents ¡Feliz Tamalidad!
Celebrate the season with friends, family, and seriously good food at The Greenline. The cultural importance of tamales, and the holiday spirit they evoke around Texas dinner tables, is celebrated into a festival for all. The 2nd Annual ¡Feliz Tamalidad! will feature live music, tamales for the tasting, and family activities. Admission is free.
San Antonio River Authority presents Illume: Making Spirits Bright
San Pedro Creek Culture Park hosts a dynamic evening of holiday festivities that showcases the local community. Highlights of the free event include food trucks and vendors making global cuisines, a beer and wine garden, and cultural performances from Brazil, Spain, Japan, and India. Making Spirits Bright guests can also check out the launch of the San Pedro Creek Temporary Art Program’s installation by local talent Ansen Seale.

Chanukah on the River
The Hanukkah celebrations continue in the Alamo City at the Arneson River Theatre. Since its inaugural event in 1998, Chanukah on the River has become one the largest Jewish gatherings in the state. Highlights include interactive entertainment, Menorah lighting, special guest appearances, and a live concert. Chag Sameach!
