Want to cop the look of Kim Kardashian’s minimalist Hidden Hills mansion? Posh furniture brand Arhaus is opening its first San Antonio store in the Shops of La Cantera at 15900 La Cantera Pkwy #19105, bringing curvy boucle swivel chairs, contemporary sofas, and more beige than an Armani suit.
Founded in Boston Heights, Ohio, in 1986, Arthaus positions itself as a lifestyle brand. The price point is positioned somewhere between Pottery Barn and RH, although it has a sharper focus on sustainability and follows trends more closely.
That gives room for a few maximalist items to slip in among all the greige, taupe, and tan. Recently, the designers have been playing with ‘40s-style florals and trompe l’oeil — and the lighting is almost universally flamboyant. Most of the showrooms also carry “relics,” vintage items that the company repurposes for contemporary living.
Recently, the company also launched a bath collection, which includes vanities, cabinets, hardware, and faucets. The high-end towels come in a rainbow of colors like dune, mink, white, ivory, and (surprise!) moss.

Incidentally, the name is not a nod to Madness' similarly sounding 1982 hit. Instead of being inspired by "our house," father-and-son founders Jack and John Reed envisioned it as a portmanteau of the name of the Danish city Aarhus and the German word for house.
A request for further timeline information was not returned at publication time. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation paperwork says construction on the massive 17,660-square-foot shop will wrap up in December 2026. Be warned, however, state filings rarely align with actual opening dates.
The Shops of La Cantera, named the nation’s best shopping center by USA Today readers in June, continues to attract some of the most coveted brands in the U.S. Free People’s activewear spinoff, FP Movement, is opening a standalone store next year. And direct-to-consumer company Rothy’s, known for its viral recycled shoes, is opening a brick-and-mortar in the upscale Northwest Side mall.
