Tune into PechaKucha San Antonio Vol. 39
PechaKucha hosts its second local digital showcase this Thursday, featuring presentations from community leader Celina Montoya, epidemiologist Cherise Rohr-Allegrini, musician/philosopher Marc Anthony Smith, and more. Each speaker gets 20 slides and just 20 seconds to discuss each slide during this fun and fast-paced storytelling event. The evening will also feature music from local band Dreambored. Presentations begin at 7 pm on PechaKucha San Antonio’s YouTube and Facebook pages. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged.

Tobin Center for the Performing Arts presents The Chronicles of Narnia
Make it a family movie night and head to the Tobin Center for a screening of 2006 blockbuster The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Tickets are free and available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity is limited, and all guests must arrive 30 minutes before showtime to guarantee entry.

San Antonio Museum of Art presents "Latin American Popular Art" opening day
The SAMA's Latin American Folk Art gallery reopens after a three-year hiatus with a new name and a fresh interpretation of the coveted collection. Now known as the Latin American Popular Art Gallery, it showcases the museum’s vast selection of approximately 8,000 objects that have been collected over the past 35 years. Following opening weekend, the exhibition will be on display through April 27, 2023.
Culinaria presents Hospitality Tour Music Festival
San Antonio nonprofit Culinaria hosts an outdoor music festival at the Freiheit Country Store in support of New Braunfels' culinary community. Performers include Tony Taylor, Blue Water Highway, Austin Gilliam, Mario Flores, and headliners William Clark Green and Statesboro Revue. Tickets can be purchased for individual shows at 11 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm, and the venue will be sanitized between each performance. Proceeds benefit the Culinaria Hospitality Fund, which provides aid to restaurateurs and furloughed workers.
