The mission of Alpha Home is to offer a pathway of help, hope, and healing through spiritually-based drug and alcohol treatment and support. Alpha Home has the only San Antonio gender-specific residential rehab program dedicated exclusively to treating women. This residential treatment program provides women with intensive and expansive therapeutic drug rehab and alcoholism addiction treatment in a home-like setting that prepares them to remain clean and sober while embracing the benefit of a lifelong 12 Step commitment.
The assistance volunteers give multiplies Alpha Home's ability to provide services to its clients. Individuals, organizations, church groups, and companies are welcome to join in a variety of tasks, including organizing donation drives, grounds maintenance, supervising clients, and answering phones, while Direct Care staff attend mandatory trainings and meetings. Alpha Home's annual Doorways of Hope Luncheon at the Omni San Antonio features a special guest speaker each year and raises funds for Alpha Home's programs.
