March is Women’s History Month, and The Classic Theatre of San Antonio will celebrate by presenting a staged reading of Bound by Truth, a tale about an inspirational female figure, whose accomplishments defied gender norms during the 16th century.
The play, written by Sheila Rinear, tells the story of Margaret “Meg” More Roper, daughter of Sir Thomas More, a literate woman in an age of male-dominated religious and political strife.
The production features music from the San Antonio Philharmonic and design illustrations by Broadway professionals. A catered reception will follow the reading.
